A broad coordination meeting was held today, Thursday, 13 November 2025, at the headquarters of the Renewable Energy Authority. The meeting brought together Mr. Eng. Aseel Younis Mohammed, Member of the Permanent Committee for Monitoring and Implementing the African Union Agenda 2063; Dr. Mohamed Al-Fadil Jibran, Chairman of the Committee; Mr. Misingati Sipuka, Chief of Staff to the Secretary-General of the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD); along with several officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and directors of departments within the Authority.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, capacity-building, and knowledge exchange. The participants emphasized the importance of consolidating African partnership and enhancing Libya’s role as a central pillar in the transition toward clean energy within the framework of Africa’s Agenda 2063.
