In a new step reflecting the Renewable Energy Authority’s commitment to unify efforts and strengthen integration among national institutions, a cooperation memorandum was signed this morning, Monday, July 21, 2025, between the Ministry of Oil and Gas and the Renewable Energy Authority at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of both parties by:
Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadiq – Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, and Eng. Aseel Younis Mohamed – Acting Chairman of the Renewable Energy Authority.

This memorandum aims to enhance partnership between the two sectors in clean energy and carbon emission reduction, through the implementation of renewable energy projects within oil facilities, development of mechanisms for exchanging technical data and expertise, as well as launching joint training programs aimed at building national capacities and developing competencies in both sectors.
