As part of efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, Engineer Nasruddin Mohamed Al-Barqali, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), participated—representing the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya—in the 26th Meeting of the RCREEE Board of Trustees, held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, on the sidelines of "Kuwait Sustainable Energy Week" in Kuwait City.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency across member states and reviewed the Center’s future plans aimed at enhancing regional cooperation and the exchange of expertise and modern technologies among the Arab member countries of RCREEE.
This meeting represents an important milestone in the Center's ongoing efforts to strengthen its role in supporting member states toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the implementation of effective strategies and policies in clean energy sectors.
Engineer Al-Barqali’s participation in this event reflects the Renewable Energy Authority's commitment to supporting Libya’s presence in regional forums, and to fostering technical and knowledge-based cooperation with relevant regional and international organizations in support of the country’s transition to sustainable energy.
