At the official invitation of Business France, the Renewable Energy Authority participated in the Africa-France Forum on Environmental and Energy Transition, held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 23–24, 2025, in the Tunisian capital.

The forum brought together government representatives from various ministries and decision-makers from both public and private sectors, with the goal of discussing solutions that contribute to environmental protection, water resource management, and the promotion of a sustainable energy transition in the region.

The event featured a series of technical conferences addressing key environmental issues and the development of renewable energy sources. Engineer Sadeq Al-Nouri, representing the Renewable Energy Authority, took part in a panel discussion during which he delivered an introductory presentation about the Authority and Libya’s National Strategy for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
